Xona, a satellite navigation startup, has raised $170 million to develop its commercial positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) network. The company plans to deploy a constellation of 258 satellites to provide enhanced location services beyond traditional GPS capabilities.
The satellite network will focus on delivering high-precision positioning data for commercial and government applications. Xona's constellation is designed to complement existing GPS infrastructure while providing improved accuracy and reliability for critical navigation tasks.
