New York Giants running back Devin Singletary has been inducted into the Conference USA Hall of Fame, becoming the Florida Atlantic University football program's first former student-athlete to receive the honor. Singletary, who starred for the Owls from 2016 to 2018, will enter his eighth NFL season this fall.

During his college career, Singletary rushed for 4,287 yards and 66 touchdowns in just three seasons, earning the nickname 'Motor' for his relentless running style. He still holds FAU records for career carries, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns, and he was a two-time CUSA Offensive Player of the Year.

Singletary's selection is a milestone for FAU's athletic program, which has grown significantly since joining CUSA in 2013 but had not previously seen a former player voted into the conference's hall. The honor underscores the Owls' rise under former head coach Lane Kiffin, who led the team to three straight bowl games during Singletary's tenure.

Singletary will be officially enshrined at a ceremony during the CUSA championship week in December. He joins a 2025 class that includes several other conference standouts, though no further details on the full induction list were disclosed.

"It's truly an honor to be recognized by Conference USA," Singletary told Yahoo Sports. "FAU gave me my start, and I'll always be grateful for that opportunity."
