The National Association of Realtors will contribute $52.25 million to settle the Tuccori homebuyer commission case. The trade group's opt-in to the settlement comes as the deadline for parties to join the agreement closes. NAR stated the release from liability is intended to cover claims related to the Batton litigation.

Douglas Elliman, a major real estate brokerage, also opted into the same settlement. The firm notified the court in Lutz of its decision before the opt-in period ended on Monday. This move aligns the brokerage with NAR's strategy to resolve the legal challenge.
